Trent L. Richards is a Henderson-based trial attorney and founding partner of Sagebrush Lawyers, a veteran-owned, AV Preeminent-rated boutique law firm recognized among the Best of Las Vegas. He blends real-world grit with courtroom discipline—shaped by years in the U.S. Marine Corps and on construction sites—into practical, results-driven advocacy for clients across Nevada and Utah.

  • Broad, hands-on perspective. Before law, Trent served as a Non-Commissioned Officer with Fox Co., 2/23 Marines, participating in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Kuwait to Baghdad). He also worked in residential and custom homebuilding—experience that informs his approach to complex construction and business disputes. 

  • Courtroom range. Trent appears regularly in Justice and District Courts, Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts, and knows the day-to-day that keeps dockets moving—right down to personally handling e-filings in complex matters to ensure accuracy.

After an honorable discharge in 2003, Trent made Clark County home and co-founded Sagebrush Lawyers in downtown Henderson—serving clients statewide with the ethos of discipline, honor, and commitment he learned in the Marines.
